Binance opens AI trading interface after 150,000-user beta

Binance has rolled out Binance AI, an interface that tailors market information and trading tools to users, after about 150,000 people tested it. The exchange says the tool is available to eligible users through its app and website. Its Oct. 12 announcement describes features such as market updates, alerts and customizable screens.

What does Binance AI show users?

It changes the information and tools on screen to match what a user follows. Binance calls this an adaptive interface: for example, it can show a recap of the previous day’s portfolio performance, price moves among a user’s holdings, or voice alerts when tracked assets move.

Users can also get market briefings in text or audio. Binance says those briefings refresh every four hours. The interface includes prompts to explain unfamiliar products and lets users choose which widgets appear on screen. Binance says the features can cover crypto and traditional finance.

Who can use it, and how many tested it?

Binance says the global rollout is progressing for eligible users on its app and website. The Block reported the rollout and beta figures: the beta began Sept. 7, and about 150,000 users tested the product, according to a Binance spokesperson. The Block said the tool had rolled out to English-language users, with support for other languages still in progress.

The beta figure gives a sense of how many users tried the interface before the wider launch. Binance has not said in its announcement how many people have access so far.

Does the interface make trades on a user’s behalf?

Binance’s announcement describes market information and trading-related tools, but does not say Binance AI automatically places trades. Its listed features focus on summaries, alerts, briefings and customizable screens.

Binance warns that AI outputs can contain errors or outdated information and says they should not be the sole basis for decisions. The company also says the outputs are not investment advice. Users deciding what to do with a trade still need to check the information and make their own decisions.
