How to Check an Ethereum-to-Manta Transfer

To verify an Ethereum-to-Manta transfer, check that the deposit succeeded on Ethereum and that the matching asset arrived at the right address on Manta Pacific. The two networks keep separate transaction records, so a successful Ethereum transaction alone does not prove the funds have reached the destination.

What does a Manta transfer do?

A bridge deposit sends assets from Ethereum Mainnet through a bridge contract, which passes a message to Manta Pacific, an Ethereum layer 2 (a network built to process transactions alongside Ethereum). How do you check the Ethereum deposit?

Start with the transaction hash, the unique ID for the wallet’s Ethereum transaction. Open it in an Ethereum block explorer and check its receipt, the record of how the transaction ran. A receipt with a success status means the transaction executed; a failed status means it did not. If the transaction is still pending, the receipt may not be available yet.

Then confirm the details match the transfer you meant to make:

• The transaction was sent from the wallet you used.
• The destination and token match the bridge deposit shown in the transfer details.
• The amount is the amount you intended to send, accounting for any displayed fees.
• The transaction is included in a block and no longer marked pending.

A successful receipt confirms the Ethereum-side transaction. It does not by itself confirm that Manta Pacific has credited the deposit. If the bridge shows a separate transfer status, use it as a progress clue, then verify the destination on-chain.

How do you confirm the funds arrived?

Search for your wallet address or the destination transaction in the Manta Pacific explorer. Check that the transaction is successful, the receiving address is yours, and the token and amount match the deposit. Token names can repeat across networks, so compare the token’s contract address as well as its symbol. The same asset may have a different contract address after bridging. If the explorer shows the transaction but the wallet balance looks unchanged, check that the wallet is displaying Manta Pacific and the correct token contract.

What if the transfer is missing?

Use the last confirmed step to narrow down the delay. If Ethereum has no successful receipt, the deposit has not completed on the source side. If Ethereum shows success but Manta Pacific has no matching transfer, check the bridge’s status and destination address, then allow for processing. A pending status is different from a failed transfer; avoid submitting a second deposit just because the first one has not appeared yet.

If the destination transaction failed, or the credited amount or address does not match, keep both transaction hashes and the transfer details. They let you trace the source and destination records without relying on a wallet notification. Treat the transfer as complete only when the destination explorer shows the expected asset at the expected address.
